Most Railroad Disability cases are handled on a contingency fee basis. That means we only get paid if you win. The fee 25% of any back pay due you. In addition, there is a charge for any out-of-pocket expenses, including travel expenses if required.
There are some exceptions. For instance, if you are already receiving Occupational Disability, and are now applying for Total and Permanent disability for the medicare coverage. In these type cases there are generally no back benefits. These cases are handled at a flat rate fee of $2,500 plus expenses, including travel.
