Hubert D. Laster

Hubert Laster graduated from South Texas College of Law and was licensed by the State of Texas in 1992. Mr. Laster is originally from Louisiana and prior to becoming an attorney, he was a consultant to the energy industry for over 17 years. He founded the firm in 1992.Mr. Laster has been continuously active in the Social Security Section of the Houston Bar Association since its inception. He has served as the Chair, Secretary/Treasurer, and council member. Mr. Laster is a member of the Texas Bar, Houston Bar, National Organization of Social Security Representatives, and the Fifth Circuit Organization of Social Security Representatives. He is an active member, and has received awards from, the Houston Volunteer Lawyers. He is also a former member of the Texas Trial Lawyers, the Pro Bono College, and the College of the State Bar. Mr. Laster currently sits on the board of a charitable organization supporting a residential facility for the mentally disabled in Shreveport, Louisiana.


 

 


Leeanna McKenzie

Leeanna McKenzie graduated from South Texas College of Law, cum Laude, in 1991. She helped establish the South Texas College of Law Legal Clinic, where she taught and practiced Social Security Law for 6 years.She joined the firm in 1995, concentrating in Social Security and Railroad Disability law. She has written many papers and has been a speaker at several continuing legal education seminars and to local community groups.Ms. McKenzie was one of the founders of the Social Security Section of the Houston Bar Association. She has served as their Chair, Secretary/Treasurer, and as a council member. Ms. McKenzie is a member of the Texas Bar, the Houston Bar, the National Organization of Social Security Representatives, and the Fifth Circuit Organization of Social Security Representatives
